Terms of service

These terms explain how MustSee works, what you are buying, and what we expect from everyone who lists or browses here. MustSee is operated by Alkinum.

1. The service

MustSee is a curated product directory for apps, software, and digital products that offers permanent placement in numbered, dynamically ranked listing slots — you are buying the listing placement itself. Slots are released on a schedule and may be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis after the displayed unlock timer ends. We may change the directory layout, labels, ranking presentation, or replenishment schedule as the service grows.

2. Accounts and submissions

You must provide accurate information and have the right to submit any website, app, GitHub repository, brand, copy, logo, or other material you ask us to publish. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current and for responding to verification requests.

Content policy. Apps, software, and digital products of every kind are welcome — AI tools, SaaS, mobile apps, games, extensions, templates, and more. Every submission passes an automated content review. Because payments run through our merchant of record, listed products must also comply with its prohibited-business rules: we reject politically sensitive content (campaigns, propaganda, lobbying), pornography or adult content (including AI companionship services), gambling or betting (including loot boxes and mystery boxes), piracy or IP-infringing material (cracks, keygens, warez, leaked or counterfeit goods, unauthorized license resale, third-party content downloaders), cheating tools, financial products (trading bots or signals, investment advice, crypto, NFTs), get-rich schemes, fake-review platforms, IPTV, cloaking or paywall-circumvention services, drugs or weapons, medical advice, pseudo-science, OSINT or personal-data aggregation, deepfakes, job boards, travel or telecom services, exam-question banks, services aimed at minors, and anything illegal, hateful, or dangerous. We may reject, pause, edit for clarity, or remove a submission that is misleading, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or inconsistent with the purpose of the directory. We do not guarantee that every submitted product will be accepted.

3. Slots and ownership

A slot is a directory placement license for the product attached to it. A successful payment gives you the right to keep that placement while the product and listing comply with these terms. You do not acquire MustSee intellectual property, a guarantee of traffic, search ranking, conversion, or exclusivity outside the displayed directory placement.

You may purchase a higher slot for a product that is already listed. When an upgrade completes, the old slot is released and enters a cooldown period. Released slots are not refundable and may later be offered to another product. If a listed product is later rejected by our content review, its slots are released and the listing is removed.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, or another payment partner shown at checkout. Polar handles applicable taxes and we do not store full payment card details. You authorize the displayed charge, including any applicable taxes or fees, when you confirm checkout. A payment is complete only after the provider confirms it to us.

5. Refund policy

All slot purchases, upgrades, and related services are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed. Slot purchases are permanent placements: every purchase changes the directory state — it assigns an owned placement, may release another slot, and affects the order in which future products are shown — so a permanent ownership model cannot reliably reverse those changes without disadvantaging other listed products.

What is non-refundable

• New slot claims, including standard and surprise-drop slots.
• Upgrades to a more visible slot.
• Insert purchases that mint a new slot at a chosen position for a premium.
• Slots released after an upgrade, even if the cooldown has not ended.
• Unused, duplicate, mistaken, or abandoned purchases.
• Purchases made after a product URL, description, category, or tags are edited.

Limited exceptions

We will investigate a duplicate charge, a payment captured without a corresponding order, or a transaction that our payment provider marks as unauthorized. If applicable law gives you a non-waivable cancellation or refund right, that right still applies. Contact us within 14 days with the payment reference at support@alkinum.com.

Before you buy

Check the product name, slot position, unlock timer, price, currency, and mode shown in checkout. If a timer or price looks wrong, do not confirm the payment; contact us first. We cannot guarantee traffic, conversion, search visibility, or that a particular position will remain the best-performing position. Please contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate; fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in listing suspension, subject to applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use MustSee to promote fraud, malware, phishing, unlawful goods, harassment, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
• Do not attempt to reserve, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or manipulate slot timers, availability, clicks, prices, or ownership records.
• Do not represent MustSee as endorsing your product unless we expressly say so.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may pause a slot, listing, or payment flow for maintenance, abuse prevention, legal reasons, provider outages, or a material data error. If we permanently discontinue the service, we will communicate the plan where reasonably possible; any remedy will be limited to what applicable law requires.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, MustSee and Alkinum disclaim implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for a claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MustSee for the specific slot giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event.
